I want to tale a really good look at the weight loss side of me
chatthefat goals. Jan 1 goals were set to lose weight. Experts say you
have to define that more narrow. New goal lose 10 pounds by X date.
Plan, fake it till I make it but do a pretty good job.
Your
inspiration? Do do a mudder race in Sept. Push; tell myself I have
this so all I have to do is maintain and I will be fine.
1st marker test. It is warm enough to go to the park and test out how I can do on the monkey bars.
Conclusion; I suck, I will fail if I don't make any changes.
What
is my next step? I am faced with a do or die as far as this race
goes. At this point I suck and I will be in the mud many times. I
have two choices. This is called drive. I know I have talked about
this before, what is your drive??
So now I need to
rethink my goal. to stop thinking workouts are to hard and keep working
to 100% + 1 each day. Do push-ups every day. Stop thinking I am the
master of my fat and really follow the plan. Tighten up the 80/20 diet
concepts. Stop telling myself that I will be OK with more of the same.
I have to change this thinking or the only thing that will change will
be time. If I suck at this today I am the only one that can change
this. How many times are you faced with these choices and you give in
and accept the low bar. I am looking at raising the bar and upping my
drive.
